Betão Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho da Costa in the 13th minute of the match. Marcelo Berger hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Betão Vale made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Délio Tasso sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ivape's goalkeeper Enio Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Valle in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 32 minutes of play, Mamonas Assassinas's Charles Ferreira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enio Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 39 minutes, Emerson do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamonas Assassinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Délio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Charles Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enio Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson do Valle in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson do Valle to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Charles Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamonas Assassinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Vale having to interfere. Emerson do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enio Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Délio Tasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Délio Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diguinho da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ivape fully deserved thier win.
