Fernandão Vides hit a great ball. Victor Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, São Paulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Massa to maneuver through the defense. In the 19thth minute of the game Osvaldo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Paulo FC's Cristian Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Castro came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Oaken Eleven's Renan Garcia. But to his dismay, Renan Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Renan Garcia's late challenge caught a São Paulo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renan Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Renan Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cristian Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Osvaldo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Figueiredo made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Oaken Eleven's corner Maurinho Paes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Castro quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, São Paulo FC's Otávio Soares got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Osvaldo Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oaken Eleven's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aníbal Bueno tried in the 68th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Roberto Aparecido a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Oaken Eleven's Victor Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes São Paulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Vides. São Paulo FC's Cristian Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Antunes in the 77th minute of play. With his leg Roberto Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when São Paulo FC's Durval Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Durval Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Roberto Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Andrade in the 88th minute of play. Oaken Eleven's Roberto Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Andrade in the 94th minute of play. Roberto Aparecido came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo FC's Egídio Neto. But to his dismay, Egídio Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Although Oaken Eleven had been in control for most of the match, São Paulo FC still came away with the win.
