Afonso Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 de abril fc's Afonso Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 曹真笑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, João Paulo Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. PALESTRA WOLOLO's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durvalino Tavares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juninho Guedes. 9 de abril fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Paulo Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 9 de abril fc's zone, Alfredo Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Guedes came out of the goal and Alfredo Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If João Paulo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The PALESTRA WOLOLO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 9 de abril fc were winning 0-1.

Afonso Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but 曹真笑 made a huge save. Juninho Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, PALESTRA WOLOLO's Cesinha Neto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesinha Neto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PALESTRA WOLOLO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesinha Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of PALESTRA WOLOLO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 9 de abril fc:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for 9 de abril fc. Narciso Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 曹真笑. 0-2. PALESTRA WOLOLO's 曹真笑 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save PALESTRA WOLOLO from getting a goal against them. After 67 played minutes PALESTRA WOLOLO got a freekick which was hit by John Madeira. PALESTRA WOLOLO's 曹真笑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Urbano in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes PALESTRA WOLOLO got a freekick which was hit by Hílton de Mendonça. The supporters of 9 de abril fc booed when PALESTRA WOLOLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Guedes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Madeira in the 81st minute of play forced 9 de abril fc's goalkeeper Juninho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Francisco Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PALESTRA WOLOLO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind 9 de abril fc's goalkeeper Juninho Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, João Paulo Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes, John Madeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALESTRA WOLOLO and the 9 de abril fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elder Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. 曹真笑 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The PALESTRA WOLOLO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 9 de abril fc's performance. The match ended with a win for 9 de abril fc.
