An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Zanette in the 47th minute of play forced Nankatsu's goalkeeper Chicão Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Chicão Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Zanette's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. A collision led to Nankatsu getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Victor Vieira hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Sidney Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nankatsu's Chicão Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidney Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Prestes got free with Luisão Paiva in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidney Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Ortiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. Nankatsu's Chicão Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Zanette in the 90th minute of play. Chicão Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sidney Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Matorin's late challenge caught a Nankatsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Querida getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Horácio Matorin hit a great ball. Querida's Luisão Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Querida from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nankatsu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
