Rony Loureiro started the match with the kick off. Juninho Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Gil Ferraz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Vendramini Team's Dráusio Lopez got a free kick in the 5th minute. Pedro Luís Cearense struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. João Carlos Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vintage FC. Gil Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Vasconcelos in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gil Ferraz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vintage FC's Gil Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Vintage FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Gil Ferraz managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Vendramini Team's Juninho Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute, Juninho Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gil Ferraz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute, Vendramini Team's Juninho Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Juninho Barreto came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gil Ferraz could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Luiz Fábio França took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gil Ferraz to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute, Maicon Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintage FC's Gil Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio França in the 37th minute of play. Rony Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. João Carlos Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Luiz Fábio França fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vendramini Team's Luiz Fábio França got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Vintage FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vintage FC's zone, Luiz Fábio França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Ferraz came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Vintage FC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Loureiro. After 55 minutes, Juninho Barreto made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vintage FC's Gil Ferraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juninho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gil Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Allan Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vintage FC's protests and gave Allan Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Vintage FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vendramini Team:s goal. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Vendramini Team. Roger Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Ferraz. 5-0. In the 77th minute Rony Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vendramini Team's Juninho Barreto in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
