The referee ignored Pardinho's protests and gave Silvério Damião a yellow card for diving instead. Jailson de Senna made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Juninho Barreto sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes in the game, Dráusio Lopez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jailson de Senna having to interfere. João Carlos Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Tróia in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Juninho Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vendramini Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. João Carlos Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pardinho. Tiago Gabriel Alagoano succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Jailson de Senna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roger Baptista. Robinho Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robinho Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Tróia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Roger Baptista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hortêncio Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fábio França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juninho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vendramini Team's Luiz Fábio França got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Gabriel Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jailson de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Vendramini Team's Hortêncio Eger got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. João Carlos Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juninho Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson de Senna having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio França notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pardinho's Jailson de Senna. Jailson de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Juninho Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vendramini Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 85th minute, Juninho Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Luiz Fábio França made a precise shot to the right of Jailson de Senna. Pardinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Manoel Martins hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pardinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Vendramini Team. Roger Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jailson de Senna. 4-2. When the referee ended the match the Vendramini Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
