With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sartubin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Acurui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sartubin the free kick. Acurui played a much better game than Sartubin and deserved their victory. The Sartubin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
