Elias Abraão hit a great ball. Frank Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Lago in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Rômulo Sá fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Frank Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Sartubin got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Paulista. 25 minutes into the match, Sartubin's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Sá came free, but Gilmar Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Sartubin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rômulo Sá fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rodriguinho Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gilmar Cosme made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Sá got free with Gilmar Cosme in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Valdo Vargas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilmar Cosme, passed just outside the right post. In the 36th play minute Rodriguinho Vander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilmar Cosme. 1-0. Rômulo Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gilmar Cosme made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gilmar Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Sergipano in the 53rd minute of the match. Frank Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Sampaio in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Figueiredo got free with Frank Soeiro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Soeiro having to interfere. The supporters of EuHeSo booed when Sartubin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes, EuHeSo's Rômulo Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilmar Cosme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EuHeSo reached it. 77 minutes into the match, Valdo Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilmar Cosme. Sartubin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 80 minutes into the match, Rômulo Sá notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sartubin's Gilmar Cosme. Gilmar Cosme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Gilberto Cavalcante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Soeiro, 4-1. Gilmar Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. EuHeSo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
