Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tales Zanette started the match with the kick off. Xandy FC's Reinaldo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Zanette in the 9th minute of play. If Josué Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Sarmento having to interfere. Xandy FC's Reinaldo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Zanette in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Bernardinho Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZéManéS S.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandy FC the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Bernardinho Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Xandy FC's Sílvio Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. ZéManéS S.C's Bernardinho Coelho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reinaldo Furlan but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josué Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, ZéManéS S.C's José Paulo Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, ZéManéS S.C's Tales Zanette got a free kick in the 60th minute. Reinaldo Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Zanette went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Josué Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Tales Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anselmo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ZéManéS S.C's Bernardinho Coelho got a free kick in the 79th minute. Reinaldo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Sílvio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xandy FC's Reinaldo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Zanette in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Anselmo Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Reinaldo Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Paulo Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Reinaldo Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZéManéS S.C. Xandy FC's Reinaldo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Zanette in the 97th minute of play. Xandy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
