An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Guerra in the 5th minute of play forced ZéManéS S.C's goalkeeper Dadá Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão Sabóia took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Sarmento. Dadá Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ZéManéS S.C! The referee gave INF. FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudinei Moreno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ZéManéS S.C's Dadá Sarmento. 0-2. Elder Guerra took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Sarmento. Dadá Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pedrão Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dadá Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INF. FC. INF. FC's Basílio Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Zanette in the 19th minute of play. Dadá Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Sabóia in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Bernardinho Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zé Roberto Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Guerra in the 28th minute of play. When INF. When Zé Roberto Braga fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INF. FC's protests and gave Zé Roberto Braga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, INF. FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Tales Zanette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Novaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Paulo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Dadá Sarmento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elder Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to INF. FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arnaldo Gerber hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute José Paulo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INF. FC booed when ZéManéS S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZéManéS S.C's Dadá Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Guerra in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, ZéManéS S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Guerra came free, but Dadá Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
