An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Prata in the 6th minute of play forced S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's goalkeeper Kiko de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Prata in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Mendonça in the 9th minute of play forced Arto do Pasto's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Toscano hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tião Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Guilherme Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arto do Pasto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luís Fabiano Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mendonça in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Quirino in the 25th minute of play forced S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's goalkeeper Kiko de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kiko de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Quirino's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Tião Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's protests and gave Tião Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. If Emílio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nestor Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tião Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nestor Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the S.C Petrolina em Vermelho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Doni Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Prata in the 67th minute of the match. If Guilherme Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fabiano Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Anísio Fernandez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Mendonça in the 84th minute of play forced Arto do Pasto's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's Emílio Reis in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doni Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko de Moraes having to interfere. Arto do Pasto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
