Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nelson Lucas kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes, Guaramano FC's Cauã Meira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Teixeira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guaramano FC reached it. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Porcos Verdes's goalkeeper Alexandre Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Guaramano FC's Vânderson Sergipano got control of the ball when Arlindo Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noel Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Guaramano FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Mendes. 27 minutes in the game, Arlindo Sá dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 34 minutes S.E. Porcos Verdes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Renato de Lara who took care of the corner kick. Guaramano FC's Paulo Renato de Lara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandre Teixeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 37 played minutes Guaramano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto de Castro. Arlindo Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Vânderson Sergipano made a huge save. Alexandre Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto de Castro's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Sidney de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Fiori Sampaio made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Teixeira. S.E. Porcos Verdes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arlindo Sá struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Vânderson Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Porcos Verdes. 63 minutes into the game, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Nelson Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Guaramano FC's Sidney de Queirós got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Arlindo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Porcos Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vânderson Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Lucas in the 70th minute of play. Alexandre Teixeira came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guaramano FC's Sidney de Queirós. But to his dismay, Sidney de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vânderson Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Lucas in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Fiori Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaramano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sidney de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guaramano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney de Queirós couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guaramano FC booed when S.E. Porcos Verdes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Teixeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo Renato de Lara. Guaramano FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
