Zé Paulo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Taitinga FC's Evaristo Eger. But to his dismay, Evaristo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Válbson Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Zé Paulo Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taitinga FC. Evaristo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Medeiros having to interfere. Evaristo Eger hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Luizinho Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Paraense in the 22nd minute of play. Matías Custódio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Luizinho Botelho made a huge save. Nicolas Silva took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Medeiros. Zé Paulo Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Ramalho in the 28th minute of play forced Marabá PA's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Válbson Ramalho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Marabá PA's Zé Paulo Medeiros. Zé Paulo Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luizinho Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Paraense in the 34th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Silva's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Evaristo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizinho Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Paraense in the 40th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Taitinga FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Marabá PA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Oséias Cavalcante hit a great ball. Evaristo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Medeiros made a huge save. Marcos Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zé Paulo Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Marabá PA defense, Marcos Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Medeiros. The Marabá PA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. José Paulo Vianna's late challenge caught a Taitinga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. José Paulo Vianna hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, José Paulo Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes of play, Taitinga FC's Nicolas Silva made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Taitinga FC's Marcos Arantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Eger in the 74th minute of play forced Marabá PA's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Nicolas Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Evaristo Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson Ramalho in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Medeiros saved Marabá PA from getting behind. Evaristo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Medeiros made a huge save. When Evaristo Eger came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Taitinga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Eger couldn't finish the play. Marabá PA's Zé Paulo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Ramalho in the 81st minute of play. Zé Paulo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Eger in the 86th minute of play. Marabá PA's Zé Paulo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Marabá PA from getting a goal against them. Taitinga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
