After a defensive mix-up in Longarai F.C.'s zone, Oscar Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Souza came out of the goal and Oscar Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Longarai F.C. booed when ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Souza made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Tiaguinho Meira sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Zé Carlos Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Longarai F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Quadros couldn't finish the play. Longarai F.C.'s João Pedro Machado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clóvis Paes but with some difficulty. Cláudio Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Porto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Longarai F.C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร had won, even though Longarai F.C. had held more of the ball.
