An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Lucas in the 11th minute of play forced Marabá PA's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Oséias Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nelson Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nildo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Matías Custódio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Porcos Verdes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Tande to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Vivaldo Paranaense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Porcos Verdes's zone, Luiz Paulo Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Teixeira came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Paraense in the 47th minute of play forced S.E. Porcos Verdes's goalkeeper Alexandre Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Nelson Lucas made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Kléber Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marabá PA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Porcos Verdes the free kick. After 54 played minutes Marabá PA got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Rezende. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Arlindo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Porcos Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredão de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Matías Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Nildo Silva got a free kick in the 67th minute. Marabá PA's Matías Custódio managed to work through S.E. Porcos Verdes's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Matías Custódio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 71 minutes of play, S.E. Porcos Verdes's Nelson Lucas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Paulo Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Sá's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Alexandre Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Custódio went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute Nelson Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Medeiros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Custódio got free with Alexandre Teixeira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Marabá PA booed when S.E. Porcos Verdes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.E. Porcos Verdes had played much better football throughout.
