Jacigua's Geraldo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Branco in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Giovanni Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร and the Jacigua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacigua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiaguinho Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jacigua's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
