In the 14thth minute of the game Nestor Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Porcos Verdes's Alexandre Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's Tião Rosa got a free kick in the 17th minute. S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's Kiko de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Lucas in the 18th minute of play.
