Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Napier Canelas came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaja Esporte Clube's Duarte Pereira. But to his dismay, Duarte Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Marques in the 11th minute of play forced Taxistas Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Napier Canelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Perivaldo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Simão Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustão Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Vieira in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Simão Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taxistas Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fernandinho Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernandinho Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Taxistas Futebol Clube's Fernandinho Nunes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Luan Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Napier Canelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Taxistas Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fernandinho Nunes hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Taxistas Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Marques came free, but Napier Canelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Albuquerque having to interfere. After the first half Taxistas Futebol Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luan Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Taxistas Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pedro Luís Lopes hit a great ball. Ernani Cruz, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Perivaldo Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taxistas Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Faustão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Itaja Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Vieira came free, but Faustão Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Vieira struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Faustão Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taxistas Futebol Clube. Napier Canelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Marques in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Luan Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napier Canelas. Taxistas Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Napier Canelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Pereira in the 82nd minute of play. Faustão Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Vieira in the 88th minute of play. Moisés Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Duarte Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Napier Canelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itaja Esporte Clube's Norberto Duarte got a free kick in the 98th minute. Taxistas Futebol Clube played a much better game than Itaja Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Itaja Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
