An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Rossi in the 3rd minute of play forced Letras FC's goalkeeper Willian Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Letras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Vito Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséias Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Imburana's Oséias Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Imburana from getting a goal against them. Imburana's Oséias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Mello in the 13th minute of play. Rafinha Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Willian Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Trevisan went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oséias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Pinheiro in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Letras FC's Giovanni Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oséias Moreno. Oséias Moreno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Nando Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Enéas Mazza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Imburana's Oséias Moreno didn't even have to move. Willian Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Rossi in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Imburana's Oséias Moreno got control of the ball when Giovanni Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Imburana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Pinheiro got free with Oséias Moreno in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vito Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafinha Rossi to make the kick off. Giovanni Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Willian Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Letras FC's Vito Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oséias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Oséias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Mello in the 75th minute of the match. Vito Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Imburana's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Mello came free, but Oséias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Imburana booed when Letras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Letras FC's Luiz Fernando Vaz got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes, Imburana's Sidnei Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Willian Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imburana reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Mello in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséias Moreno saved Imburana from getting behind. Manfredo de Godoi hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Letras FC's Willian Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Rossi in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imburana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Letras FC.
