In the 36th minute, Baroneza's Waldemar Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Galvão. Humberto Galvão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Baroneza getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luciano Valladares hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, BBEC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Toledo came free, but Humberto Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Silvério Silveira sped through BBEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Galvão. The audience was convinced that Laerte Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Galvão was relentless in the 61st minute of the game.
