Mumbada's Manoel Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Borges in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Lopez during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to JessLeh FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Célio Lopez hit a great ball. Murillo Diniz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mumbada's Manoel Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Borges in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of JessLeh FC booed when Mumbada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Diguinho Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Moura having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Barral in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Moura saved JessLeh FC from getting behind. Rubinho Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manoel Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Borges's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 44 played minutes, Mumbada's Murillo Diniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldir Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mumbada reached it. Ademir Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho Matorin made a kick off. Célio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Rezende having to interfere. Mumbada's Ademir Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Eugênio Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JessLeh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mumbada the free kick. In the 56th match minute, JessLeh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Diguinho Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Waldir Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ademir Barral made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Moura. JessLeh FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Mumbada booed when JessLeh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Diguinho Matorin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Moura. Diguinho Matorin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Rubinho Mendes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Manoel Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JessLeh FC. Zé Augusto Pirani hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Murillo Diniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Moura skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mumbada had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
