Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diguinho Matorin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Rossi in the 4th minute of play forced Mumbada's goalkeeper Manoel Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Marquez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Sidnei Barbosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mumbada's Manoel Rezende didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Diguinho Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mumbada's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Luiz Eduardo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, Imburana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Imburana's goalkeeper Oséias Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Barral. Manoel Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Barbosa in the 28th minute of play. Manoel Rezende came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Imburana's Cícero Seco. But to his dismay, Cícero Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Rafinha Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imburana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Diguinho Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafinha Rossi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Imburana booed when Mumbada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Cícero Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imburana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Diguinho Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Diguinho Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mumbada's protests and gave Diguinho Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mumbada's Diguinho Matorin got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ademir Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Moreno having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Diguinho Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Diguinho Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Imburana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
