An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Haroldo Paranaense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 13 minutes into the match, Remo's goal looked a bit too open when Beto de Castro came free, but Raphael de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Ferraz. Luciano Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Remo's Sérgio Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raphael de Sousa came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's Haroldo Paranaense. But to his dismay, Haroldo Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cristóvão Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Sérgio Mineiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raphael de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto de Castro in the 29th minute of play. Beto de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Paranaense came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raphael de Sousa could save by the left post. Raphael de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Raphael de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute, Tiago Gabriel Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Sousa having to interfere. Haroldo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Raphael de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Beto de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael de Sousa. Remo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Paulão Sousa hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Tiago Gabriel Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
