In the 96th minute Kauã Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Lopez's late challenge caught a Equipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulinho Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. Paulinho Lopez hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto de Azevedo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Teodoro de Senna, a very annoying self made goal in the 99th minute which led to 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Equipe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
