Yan de Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan de Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. The Curutari FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Curutari FC's Yan de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26thth minute of the game Yan de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Os Indomaveis F.C's Teodoro de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yan de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Teodoro de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Yan de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Czysty, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Stefan Czysty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Teodoro de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro de Senna having to make a save. After 43 played minutes Os Indomaveis F.C got a freekick which was hit by Régis Vianna. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Monteiro made a kick off. With his leg Teodoro de Senna managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Curutari FC's Yan de Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Curutari FC's Yan de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro de Senna having to make a save. Yan de Lima scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yan de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Teodoro de Senna made a huge save. In the 71st minute Rony Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Pekdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Os Indomaveis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Batista to maneuver through the defense. Yan de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Teodoro de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Duda Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
