When Ismael de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Uberaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael de Queirós couldn't finish the play. The Uberaba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Atletico G. A.. Geovani Rosado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dário Linhares. 3-2. Gil Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uberaba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
