In the 3rd minute André Luiz de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Castelhano's Murilo Nogueira got control of the ball when Caetano Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Zé Augusto Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelhano. After a defensive mix-up in Castelhano's zone, Caetano Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Nogueira came out of the goal and Caetano Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Nogueira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Castelhano's zone, Caetano Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Nogueira came out of the goal and Caetano Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr's Cacá Bertassi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Murilo Nogueira but with some difficulty. The supporters of Castelhano booed when Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rubinho Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr got a freekick which was hit by Victor Lopes. If Rubinho Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Cardoso in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luiz de Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81st match minute, Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Castelhano's Válter Porto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Castelhano's Murilo Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz de Moraes in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anselmo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelhano's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Augusto Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, André Luiz de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luiz de Moraes in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murilo Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Castelhano's Murilo Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Araújo in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castelhano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
