Spectators: 7161 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 70) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sandro de Lara got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Vitório Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remansu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tesoura the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Remansu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tesoura:s goal. The referee gave Tesoura a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Alberto de Medeiros, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Remansu FC's Edmundo Saraiva. 1-0. Tomé Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Queiroz in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Remansu FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Sá. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ediberto Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tesoura's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Saraiva having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Sandro de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Edmundo Saraiva to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th play minute Sandro de Lara came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edmundo Saraiva. 4-0. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Sandro de Lara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sandro de Lara took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Saraiva. Edmundo Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sandro de Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Edmundo Saraiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 48 minutes into the match, Didi Queiroz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Tesoura's Tomé Schmidt. Tomé Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laerte Cordeiro made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sandro de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo Saraiva. Remansu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Alexsandro Moura was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, one of Tesoura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tesoura. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Remansu FC's Evaristo Leão got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomé Schmidt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio de Lara in the 66th minute of play forced Remansu FC's goalkeeper Edmundo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ediberto Peres in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Saraiva saved Remansu FC from getting behind. Antônio de Lara scored 7-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Ediberto Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tesoura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Remansu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Neves came free, but Edmundo Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remansu FC's Edmundo Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio de Lara in the 75th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Tesoura's Antônio de Lara made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomé Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvinho Vaz in the 84th minute. Ediberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Remansu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Peres came free, but Edmundo Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Tesoura were awarded a corner. Carlos Alberto de Medeiros went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Cléberson Neves advanced and headed the ball into goal, 9-2 in the 95th minute. Ediberto Peres took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Saraiva. Edmundo Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-2. Tesoura's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
