Grêmio Ventura's Toninho Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Alagoano in the 28th minute of play. Saldanha FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Grêmio Ventura's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álmos Földvári took the corner. The corner ended in Álmos Földvári almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grêmio Ventura's Toninho Koehler did a great save. The audience was convinced that Dainius Damušis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Koehler was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Dainius Damušis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Toninho Koehler 61 minutes into the match. Dainius Damušis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Trevisan got free with Toninho Koehler in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Ventura's zone, Pedro Paulo Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Koehler came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Pedro Paulo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldanha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dainius Damušis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Toninho Koehler made a huge save. After 87 played minutes Grêmio Ventura got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Soeiro. Dainius Damušis came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toninho Koehler could save by the left post. Pedro Paulo Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dainius Damušis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Toninho Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Grêmio Ventura fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saldanha FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
