To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Galicia EC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Celso Jacinto hit a great ball. The supporters of Remansu FC booed when Galicia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gencho Karaganev was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Laerte Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laerte Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Evaristo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edmundo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Remansu FC's Laerte Cordeiro in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gencho Karaganev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gencho Karaganev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Cordeiro in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Queiroz in the 61st minute of play forced Galicia EC's goalkeeper Gencho Karaganev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Laerte Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gencho Karaganev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Galicia EC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Erik Vaz hit a great ball. Gencho Karaganev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Galicia EC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Netto. Erik Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Laerte Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencho Karaganev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencho Karaganev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gencho Karaganev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Cordeiro in the 86th minute of play. Erik Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gencho Karaganev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Cordeiro went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Galicia EC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Remansu FC had won, even though Galicia EC had held more of the ball.
