Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Capixaba kicked off to start the match. Benjamin Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 3 minutes into the game, one of Inter Florida E.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aírton Prata had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Lenílson Botelho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wesley Arantes struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Nelson Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Florida E.C. Nelson Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Pinheiro in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Gualter de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Florida E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itahy the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Inter Florida E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Guilherme Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nelson Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Wesley Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Florida E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Arantes was the one to do the kick off. Aírton Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Guilherme Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nelson Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandro Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nelson Secco could save by the left post. Sandro Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Secco having to make a save. Sandro Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nelson Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Itahy's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Lira came free, but Nelson Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Itahy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Wesley Arantes scored to the left of an out of position Nelson Secco, making the score, 0-1. If Wesley Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Itahy's goalkeeper Nelson Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Pinheiro. After a defensive mix-up in Itahy's zone, Sandro Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Secco came out of the goal and Sandro Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inter Florida E.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
