Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Capixaba kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Sebastião Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hansen FC the free kick. Sebastião Capixaba hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Nelson Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jonathan Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Matorin in the 9th minute of the match. Augusto Matorin took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Secco. Nelson Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Fernando Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Capixaba in the 15th minute of play. With 16 minutes on the clock, Jonathan Guedes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vivaldo Simão hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Itahy got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Camargo. If Júlio da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hansen FC's Júlio da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Anderson Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hansen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anderson Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hansen FC booed when Itahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Tande hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hansen FC's Luiz Fernando Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Capixaba in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jonathan Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Júlio da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio da Silva to make the kick off. Guilherme Campidelis tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Nelson Secco a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, Sebastião Capixaba notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hansen FC's Luiz Fernando Novaes. Luiz Fernando Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nelson Secco made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Júlio da Silva sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Itahy's Claudinei Saraiva got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Jonathan Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Trancoso in the 74th minute of the match. Jonathan Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fernando Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Júlio da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hansen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itahy's zone, Jonathan Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Secco came out of the goal and Jonathan Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Itahy's Nelson Secco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Itahy from getting a goal against them.
