Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sandro Alcântara started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Jardim do vale booed when Luiz Bernardo F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Luiz Bernardo F. C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Richard Tinoco hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Sandro Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jardim do vale's Sandro Alcântara in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luiz Bernardo F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Marcel Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Tepedino having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Marcel Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Sandro Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luiz Bernardo F. C.'s Edgar de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Leite's late challenge caught a Jardim do vale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Leite helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Luiz Bernardo F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Leite to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Geovani Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Edgar de Mendonça. Luiz Bernardo F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 44th minute, Geovanni Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Genílson Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Arnaldo Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luiz Bernardo F. C..

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genílson Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Cristóvão da Costa put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Luiz Bernardo F. C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jardim do vale:s goal. Luiz Bernardo F. C.:s Edgar de Mendonça showed great skill when he stopped Jairo Loureiro:s penalty. If Sandro Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Toscano in the 72nd minute of play. Sandro Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Edgar de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim do vale. Arnaldo Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Toscano in the 82nd minute of play. Sandro Alcântara got in the 85th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edgar de Mendonça handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Luiz Bernardo F. C.'s Marcel Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Tepedino came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Luiz Bernardo F. C.'s Marcel Toscano. But to his dismay, Marcel Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Richard Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
