Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernardinho Paranaense made the kick off which started today's match. Vânderson Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardinho Paranaense went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carrancas E.C.'s Antônio Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clóvis Cerezo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrancas E.C.'s Alessandro Zonta. But to his dismay, Alessandro Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bernardinho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ajax FC's goalkeeper Clóvis Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Zonta. Alessandro Zonta had several of the Ajax FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Clóvis Cerezo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Clóvis Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Zonta in the 32nd minute. Clóvis Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Ribeiro in the 33rd minute of play. Felippe Alvarenga hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Alessandro Zonta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Cerezo. Ajax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Zonta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Clóvis Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Alessandro Zonta sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Carrancas E.C. booed when Ajax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Cerezo having to interfere. If Antônio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Zonta in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Vânderson Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Paranaense in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ajax FC's Ricardinho Neto got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Alessandro Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carrancas E.C.'s Antônio Ribeiro in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ajax FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alessandro Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Clóvis Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Zonta in the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Ajax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael de Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Elivélton Loureiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clóvis Cerezo skillfully saved the ball. Felippe Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clóvis Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Ribeiro in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ajax FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elivélton Loureiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Carrancas E.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Jailson Couto hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Elivélton Loureiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clóvis Cerezo skillfully saved the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Ajax FC's Bernardinho Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vânderson Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carrancas E.C. fully deserved thier win.
