Emanuel Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Porto having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Doni Favoretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Sá was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. SC Corveta's Dênis Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson de Lara in the 68th minute of play. Emanuel Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Sá was a little too slow when Doni Favoretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. SC Corveta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
