Carlos Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Bilintx having to make a save. In the 13th match minute, Pdavida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Leão Saturno S.C's Anselmo Quirino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Bilintx. Arsenio Bilintx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Richard Paraíba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agnaldo Rossi. Leão Saturno S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pdavida's Edgar Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vânderson Pirani's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Edgar Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agnaldo Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ramos in the 43rd minute of play. Pdavida's Richard Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leão Saturno S.C's Agnaldo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Lara in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Daniel Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pdavida's protests and gave Daniel Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Leão Saturno S.C's corner Paulo José Abraão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Bilintx quite easily take care of the ball. Agnaldo Rossi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pdavida's Edgar Lara. But to his dismay, Edgar Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Edgar Lara came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Agnaldo Rossi could save by the left post. After 67 minutes, Aloísio Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leão Saturno S.C and the Pdavida players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Aloísio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leão Saturno S.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Richard Paraíba scored to the left of an out of position Agnaldo Rossi, making the score, 2-3. If Vânderson Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vânderson Pirani got free with Agnaldo Rossi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Leão Saturno S.C fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Leão Saturno S.C's Carlos Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Despite being the better team, Pdavida failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
