When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremias Guerra sped through NVS ARTS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdemar Faria. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Guerra in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rafa da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Guerra in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Valdemar Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Guerra's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Jeremias Guerra notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of NVS ARTS's Valdemar Faria. Valdemar Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Faria having to interfere. NVS ARTS's Valdemar Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa da Costa in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, S.E Time do Ganso's Jeremias Guerra made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Valdemar Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Proença hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Faria was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Alfredinho Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NVS ARTS and the S.E Time do Ganso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, NVS ARTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Proença to maneuver through the defense. When Jeremias Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E Time do Ganso's protests and gave Jeremias Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. Valdemar Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Britto in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of NVS ARTS booed when S.E Time do Ganso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, S.E Time do Ganso's goalkeeper Amílton do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro Garcia. After some careless play in the NVS ARTS defense, Rafa da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Faria. The NVS ARTS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Faria should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rafa da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandão Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E Time do Ganso's Rafa da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Valdemar Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in NVS ARTS's zone, José Maria Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Faria came out of the goal and José Maria Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandão Valle hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to NVS ARTS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alfredinho Proença hit a great ball. Valdemar Faria stood somewhat misplaced when Jeremias Guerra came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 73 minute. When Bebeto Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NVS ARTS's protests and gave Bebeto Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes into the match, NVS ARTS's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Guerra came free, but Valdemar Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Britto struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Valdemar Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E Time do Ganso. 81 minutes into the match, NVS ARTS's goalkeeper Valdemar Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Guerra. Rafa da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Faria having to make a save. NVS ARTS's Valdemar Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho de Medeiros in the 95th minute of play.
