In the 10th minute, Cléberson Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes, Iuri Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatassarrafo F. C and the Bupeva EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Galatassarrafo F. C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Iuri Santana hit a great ball. Thomás Martins, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Galatassarrafo F. C defense, Claudinho Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilmar do Vale. The Galatassarrafo F. C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilmar do Vale should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bupeva EC's zone, Oséias Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Gerber came out of the goal and Oséias Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepe Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Pepe Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bupeva EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatassarrafo F. C the free kick. After 29 played minutes Bupeva EC got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Rojas. Galatassarrafo F. C's Nilmar do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Cruz in the 32nd minute of play. Claudinho Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nilmar do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cléberson Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Paranaense in the 36th minute of play forced Galatassarrafo F. C's goalkeeper Nilmar do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Cruz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Claudinho Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléberson Paranaense in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidney de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidney de Senna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Frank Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

If Claudinho Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney de Senna in the 60th minute of the match. Galatassarrafo F. C's Nilmar do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Galatassarrafo F. C from getting a goal against them. Bupeva EC's Frank Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney de Senna in the 64th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galatassarrafo F. C! Thomás Martins walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Bupeva EC booed when Galatassarrafo F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galatassarrafo F. C's zone, Cléberson Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar do Vale came out of the goal and Cléberson Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cléberson Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinho Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar do Vale having to make a save. If Claudinho Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Nilmar do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Bupeva EC's Cléberson Paranaense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, Galatassarrafo F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Cruz came free, but Nilmar do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Célio de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatassarrafo F. C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bupeva EC the free kick. Célio de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Galatassarrafo F. C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bupeva EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
