Joel Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa da Costa's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 11 minutes, Enéas Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 14 de Março FC and the S.E Time do Ganso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enéas Gomes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in 14 de Março FC's zone, Bernardo Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Campidelis came out of the goal and Bernardo Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Ismael Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, José Maria Neto had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Anderson Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 14 de Março FC's protests and gave Anderson Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. S.E Time do Ganso made a substitution. Davi Tavares replaced José Maria Neto. A collision led to 14 de Março FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anderson Capixaba hit a great ball. After some careless play in the 14 de Março FC defense, Rafa da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Campidelis. The 14 de Março FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Campidelis should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, S.E Time do Ganso's Jeremias Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jeremias Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Britto went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When S.E Time do Ganso's Jeremias Guerra in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd minute, Jeremias Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Joel Campidelis. 14 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Furlan during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, 14 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Guerra made a kick off. Rafa da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Campidelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafa da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Guerra had several of the 14 de Março FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Joel Campidelis as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to 14 de Março FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Juvenal Monteiro hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Jeremias Guerra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E Time do Ganso's goalkeeper Amílton do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dedê Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the S.E Time do Ganso defense, José Pedro Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílton do Nascimento. The S.E Time do Ganso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílton do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Joel Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Campidelis was a little too slow when Rafa da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-6. S.E Time do Ganso's Rafa da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Britto in the 86th minute. During the 87th minute of the match Ismael Furlan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ismael Furlan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 88 played minutes 14 de Março FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Furlan. Joel Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Rafa da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Guerra in the 93rd minute of play forced 14 de Março FC's goalkeeper Joel Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, S.E Time do Ganso's Jeremias Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joel Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
