Cafu Hoffmann's late challenge caught a 4 E V E R T O N's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Todos os Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Novaes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Todos os Santos FC's Jefferson Novaes, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Todos os Santos FC. When Oséias Netto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Todos os Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, 4 E V E R T O N's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Novaes came free, but Ciro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 E V E R T O N's Ciro Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Novaes in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Todos os Santos FC fully deserved thier win.
