In the 11th minute, Cristiano Tavares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fellipe Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jefferson Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Carvalho having to interfere. Fellipe Bastos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Todos os Santos FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Todos os Santos FC's Jefferson Novaes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Trincheira's Umberto de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Novaes in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Cristiano Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jefferson Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Todos os Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Novaes couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jefferson Novaes was the one to do the kick off. When Lucas Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Todos os Santos FC's protests and gave Lucas Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Jefferson Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ricardinho Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nelson Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Adalberto Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trincheira and the Todos os Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jefferson Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jefferson Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todos os Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trincheira's Rui Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Todos os Santos FC's Jefferson Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umberto de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Novaes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jefferson Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Carvalho having to interfere.
