Spectators: 7292 (Terracing: 5471, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jefferson Novaes started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Andrézinho Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 17th minute, Todos os Santos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luiz Fabiano Romero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luiz Fabiano Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nelson Sousa made a huge save. With his leg Nelson Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when DUCK's Luiz Fabiano Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 minutes of play, DUCK's Luiz Fabiano Romero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st match minute, DUCK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Paulinho Passos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gui Joinvilense skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gui Joinvilense was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34thth minute of the game Jefferson Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DUCK's Gui Joinvilense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gui Joinvilense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fabiano Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Sousa having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Remo Coutinho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nelson Sousa, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Todos os Santos FC's Nelson Sousa got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Remo Coutinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Sousa. Remo Coutinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Coutinho made a kick off. 64 minutes into the match, DUCK's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Novaes came free, but Gui Joinvilense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gui Joinvilense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of DUCK booed when Todos os Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Luiz Fabiano Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DUCK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Nelson Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Coutinho in the 76th minute of play. Cristiano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gui Joinvilense having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Cristiano Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gui Joinvilense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Todos os Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Gui Joinvilense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luiz Fabiano Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUCK's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remo Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DUCK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Todos os Santos FC for a fine match.
