The referee ignored Ipe EC's protests and gave Ramiro Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ipe EC's Ramiro Cunha got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 played minutes Ipe EC got a freekick which was hit by Chico Baptista. Raúl Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani do Vale having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Pantanal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evandro Gonçalves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 11th minute Evandro Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. The supporters of Ipe EC booed when Pantanal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Gonçalves in the 34th minute of the match. Giovani do Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evandro Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Evandro Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Evandro Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovani do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Raúl Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Giovani do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ipe EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
