After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cássio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tricolor's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Garcia hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Pindoretama's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Santana came free, but Isaltino Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo do Valle having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindoretama's goalkeeper Isaltino Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Gilvan Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Pindoretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Amaral. Eriberto Santana hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tricolor's zone, Ramiro Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo do Valle came out of the goal and Ramiro Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Diogo do Valle made a huge save. Arnaldo Messias hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Gilvan Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, one of Pindoretama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luisinho Souto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pindoretama played a much better game than Tricolor and deserved their victory. The Tricolor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
