When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, CRB's Luís Fabiano Terra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jeremias Massa. Jeremias Massa was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Alessandro Quintal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
