In the 13th minute Ramiro Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilvan Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cláudio Linares came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Atlético Boludos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Linares couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Ramalho in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pindoretama's Isaltino Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Hökkvist in the 59th minute of play. When Atlético Boludos's Cláudio Linares in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
