Moraes A.C's Abelardo Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Tinoco was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rafa Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Limoeiro Do Norte's Andrézinho Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Catarinense in the 79th minute of play. Anselmo Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Limoeiro Do Norte getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
