Ramiro Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremias Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Ramalho in the 20th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Carioca hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Júnior Arantes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. VSKG Clube's Jeremias Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save VSKG Clube from getting a goal against them. Juvenal Rocha's late challenge caught a VSKG Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pindoretama's Juvenal Rocha got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leonardo Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pindoretama's Ramiro Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to VSKG Clube getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Delfim Rosa hit a great ball. When Leonardo Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pindoretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Maranhense couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaltino Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Tróia in the 53rd minute of the match. Jeremias Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Massa having to interfere. The supporters of Pindoretama booed when VSKG Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ramiro Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindoretama's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Ramiro Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
