The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Linares in the 5th minute of play forced Moraes A.C's goalkeeper Sérgio Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Cláudio Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Pena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Cláudio Linares put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Pena. Sérgio Pena came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Boludos's Mattias Hökkvist. But to his dismay, Mattias Hökkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Cláudio Linares came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Atlético Boludos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Linares couldn't finish the play. Válter Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Abelardo Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Róbson Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Atlético Boludos's Danilo de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Pena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Atlético Boludos fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Atlético Boludos's Cláudio Linares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbson Aguiar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Mattias Hökkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Boludos's Cláudio Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sérgio Pena. That made the score 0-6 after 95 minutes of play. Atlético Boludos played a much better game than Moraes A.C and deserved their victory. The Moraes A.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
