Renatinho Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Maranhense in the 23rd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Coelho E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Marquez. Wanderson Tasso's late challenge caught a Pindoretama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Wanderson Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Juvenal Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
